Hotel Granvia's breakfast ticket is good for an international buffet or a set-breakfast
in its Japanese restaurant.
Four of us tried breakfast at the Japanese restaurant this morning.
It was a very simple fare. No wonder not many people were at the Japanese
restaurant for breakfast.

VT and MC went to Kanazawa-Maimon (金沢 まいもん) for a sushi lunch.
It was located in the Porta mall, the basement level of Kyoto station.
This restaurant opened a branch in Taipei in 2021 with much publicity.
We enjoyed it, especially the salmon nigiri and
amberjack (鰤魚) nigiri.
However, some of the special items, such as snow crab legs or Toyama-bay white
shrimp tempura, were
not available.
